Where is Jerry Levitan Now?

Come on Baby Boomers, if you are a Beatles fan or FANATIC, you know who Jerry Levitan is.
For those of you who were/are too stoned to remember…he was the 14 year old Canadian who in 1969, got into John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s hotel room at The King Edward Hotel, in Toronto, Canada and got a 40 minute interview about “The Beatles, their music and PEACE.”
He accomplished what many were not able to do especially since this was John’s and Yoko’s “bed period.” And they simply were not doing interviews or talking to very many if any, people.
38 years later that interview, that was done on a reel to reel, has been made into a video, “I Met The Walrus,” which was nominated for an Oscar Award in April of 2008 for “Best Animated Short Film” and “Best Animated” at the Manhattan Short Film Festival, which it ultimately won.
Here’s what the critics say about “I Met The Walrus”
Using the original interview recording as the soundtrack, director Josh Raskin has woven a visual narrative which tenderly romances Lennon’s every word in a cascading flood of multipronged animation. Raskin marries the terrifyingly genius pen work of James Braithwaite with masterful digital illustration by Alex Kurina, resulting in a spell binding vessel for Lennon’s boundless wit, and timeless message.
So, Baby Boomers, are you ready to see the film? I thought so…here you go…
“I MET THE WALRUS”
So, just where is Jerry Levitan now?
He is certified as a Specialist in Civil Litigation by the Law Society of Upper Canada and a partner at the law firm of Levitan Lawyers in Toronto.
And he has written a book called “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Winning Everyday Legal Hassles in Canada” and is a father. Sounds like the Establishment to me…but don’t cut Jerry short…he has an ultra ego that would surprise you.

Beatles Note: For the fifth time, John Lennon’s assassin has been denied parole. August 12th, Mark David Chapman, the man convicted of murdering John Lennon outside his and Yoko’s Manhattan apartment building in 1980 was once again denied parole. I hope he stays there for the rest of his miserable life!
