The Current Political Polls-Who Is Ahead

August 19, 2008

Time is drawing near for Obama and McCain, who have been nominated by the Democrat and Republican parties, to run for the Presidency of the United States, to pick their running mates.

Who will they be? This appears to be a very close race to me. And who Obama and McCain pick as their running mates could just very well be the decision or the deciding factor, as to who will be the the next President of the United States.

My Republican friends have informed me that “McCain is a shoe~in.” My Democrat friends tell me “change is in the air.”

But here is what the Washington Post says.

“Democrat Barack Obama has had about a 3 to 1 advantage over Republican John McCain in Post Page 1 stories since Obama became his party’s presumptive nominee June 4. Obama has generated a lot of news by being the first African American nominee, and he is less well known than McCain, and therefore there’s more to report on. But the disparity is so wide that it doesn’t look good.

They are making their opinions on stats. If you want to read more about their statistics, here is what The Washington Post has to say.

Baby Boomers, if you belong to the Republican, Democrat, Third Party, Bachelor Party…what ever party you are…don’t forget to register and vote.
