The Clintons Are Back ON The Campaign Political Circuit…
For those of you who have been living in a tent in Siberia or on another planet, there has been some animosity with “The Clintons and Obama, since the Primaries. Bill and Hilary Clinton, two of the most powerful Democrats, have not been in the Obama cheering section since Hilary lost the Primaries to Obama.
Hilary looking rested, apparently has put her over sized ego in her pocket and decided to back the Democratic Ticket, starting Sunday in Pennsylvania, it will be the launch of an active campaign for their former nemesis Barack Obama in the home stretch of the 2008 presidential race.
The nation’s best known and most powerful Democrats for nearly two decades, New York Senator Hilary Rodham Clinton and the former President, Bill Clinton, will appear with Obama’s running mate, Joe Biden, at a rally Sunday in Scranton, PA.
Hoping for the blue collar vote, Joe Biden, a Scrantonite and Hilary Rodham Clinton whose father was a Scratonite and is buried there…hope to capture some votes for the Democratic Ticket.
After the rally, the Clintons will follow separate itineraries through presidential battleground states. They will begin campaigning on behalf of Democratic House and Senate candidates across the country.
Bill Clinton, who appeared to take his wifes’ loss more personally, has started stomping the campaign grounds in Florida and gave Obama his full endorsement at the Democratic convention in August. He will be headed to Richmond and Roanoke, Virginia. And is also scheduled for events in the next few days in Ohio and Nevada, battleground states he won in 1992 and again in 1996.
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton was scheduled to hold a fundraiser for Obama on Sunday night in Philadelphia and planned a rally for him Monday in Montgomery County, a Philadelphia suburb rich in swing voters, hoping to catch more votes in Philly…
Hillary has also planned return visits to Ohio and Florida in the next few days and has scheduled trips to Omaha, Nebraska and Minnesota.
Reports have it that Senator Hillary Clinton has headlined more than 50 events for Obama and has raised $10 million for his campaign, since suspending her own presidential effort in June.
