Here we go again, Salmonella-Peanut Butter Recall of 2009. It has been 23 months since the last peanut butter salmonella alert with Peter Pan peanut butter. This time it is King Nut Companies. They have issued a total recall of peanut butter that it distributes.

Salmonella food poisoning, first linked to uncooked tomatoes has now been reported in nine states, per the U.S. health officials.
