UPDATE: Morgan Freeman Still In Serious Condition After Auto Accident

Oscar winning actor, Morgan Freeman was hospitalized in Memphis, Tenn., on Monday after being seriously injured in a car accident within 5 miles of his home, in rural Mississippi.

Morgan Freeman was reported in serious condition after the car he was driving with a friend, became air born, flipped end over end, finally landing in a ditch. Morgan Freeman and Demaris Meyer, 48, of Memphis, Tenn., were then airlifted and taken to Regional Medical Center.

Freeman, who is 71, is still in serious condition, after undergoing surgery. He has suffered a broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage and is said to be in good spirits. And expected to make a full recovery.

Not much is known about the passenger, Demaris Meyer, 48, of Memphis, Tenn., except that he was more coherent at the scene of the accident. And seemed in more stable condition.

Morgan Freeman is on of my favorite actors and I am sure, as with me, your prayers are with him, his friend and their families.

My favorite movie that he has stared in is “The Shawshank Redemption.”
