Senator Barack Obama of Illinois, sealed the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, May 3rd, 2008. A historic step towards this nations once improbable goal of having the nation’s first black President of The United States.
The race boiled down to an even deeper race between a black man and a woman, which exposed deep racial and gender divisions within the party.
A defeated Hillary Rodham Clinton is already maneuvering for the vice presidential spot on his fall ticket.
I for one, hope not to see that!
