Our courts are filled with guilty criminals, white collar and blue collar who say they are innocent.
Just to go back and look at a few who the ballots are still out on…

O.J. (murders)
Michael Jackson (child abuse)
Bill Clinton (acts unbecoming a president-adultery)
Jimmy Swaggart (sex scandal)
Lindsay Lohan (drug charges)
Sen. Larry Craig (lewd conduct in an airport bathroom)
Jeff Skilling (ERON Stolen Funds)
Drew Petterson (Murdering two wives)

Just to name a few recent “I am innocent”…

Now, lets look at some of the other accusations on Gov. Sarah Palin.

QUESTION: Did Gov. Sarah Palin go to Ireland, Germany, Kuwait, and Iraq to visit Alaskan Troops and US Military?
ANSWER: Unnamed aides initially explained that Palin had visited a “military outpost” inside Iraq. The Globe said campaign aides and members of the Alaska National Guard subsequently explained that she did not venture beyond the Iraq/Kuwait border when she visited the Khabari Alawazem Crossing on July 25, 2007. Lt. Col. Dave Osborn, commander of the 3d Battalion, 207th Infantry of the Alaska National Guard, who was in charge of the 570 local troops serving in Kuwait and Iraq, said Palin did not cross in Iraq.

“You have to have permission to go into a lot of areas, and (the crossing) is where her permissions were,” Osborn told the newspaper during a telephone interview Friday.

QUESTION: Did Gov. Sarah Palin go to Canada and Mexico on vacation on the same trip via Tax Payers Expense?

ANSWER: Palin made a well-documented trip to Kuwait and Germany last year to visit U.S. troops, and over time, the governor and her staff have revealed she also visited Canada and Mexico. Meanwhile, her aides clarified that a purported visit to Ireland was little more than a refueling stop during her trip to the Middle East. (AP NEWS)

QUESTION: Was there a bridge to nowhere? Did Gov. Palin support it then un-support it?

ANSWER: Yes, there was a bridge to be built to a small Island, yes, Gov. did back the bridge and yes she did withdraw her support on that bridge, when the wind came in from another direction. Those moneys were kept in Alaska and used else where. Those moneys were federally funded.

QUESTION: Did Sarah Palin take a cut back in pay as Mayor of Wasilla as promised? Even though her husband was against it?

ANSWER: Yes, she did…but she also gave her self two more increases which got her making a LARGE amount more then she originally starting making as Mayor. Job wage increase-not the issue…running your election platform on promises that your make and going against them when in office…you decide.

QUESTION: Gov. Palin: “To the families of special-needs children all across this country, I have a message: For years, you sought to make America a more welcoming place for your sons and daughters. I pledge to you that if we are elected, you will have a friend and advocate in the White House.”

ANSWER:Sarah Palin might have changed her mind on this one recently. However, a comment here notes that Palin actually slashed funding for schools for special needs kids by 62%. Budgets: FY 2007 (pre-Palin), 2008, 2009 SPECIAL NOTE:The Palins themselves have a special-needs child. (CBS NEWS)

QUESTION: Did Gov. Palin state, “America needs more energy … our opponent is against producing it.”???
ANSWER: No, he plans to develop a lot more energy than Senator John McCain does. Fact, it’s just that a lot of it is renewable energy , not carbon-based. Moreover, Senator Obama hasn’t skipped the last eight votes on renewable energy. (CBS NEWS)

Here are a few lies I think Gov. Sarah Palin is guilty of and until she was picked as Rep. VP Elect. I had never heard of her…

Lied about the Bridge To Nowhere. She ran for office favoring it, wore a sweatshirt defending it, and only gave it up when the federal congress, Senator McCain in particular, went ballistic. She kept the money anyway and favors funding Don Young’s Way, at twice the cost of the original bridge.

Lied about her firing of the town librarian and police chief of Wasilla, Alaska.

Lied about pressure on Alaska’s public safety commissioner to fire her ex-brother-in-law.

Lied about her previous statements on climate change.

Lied about Alaska’s contribution to America’s oil and gas production.

Lied about when she asked her daughters for their permission for her to run for vice president.

Lied about the actual progress in constructing a natural gas pipeline from Alaska.

Lied about Obama’s position on habeas corpus.

Lied about her alleged tolerance of homosexuality.

Lied about the use or non use of a TelePrompter at the St Paul convention.

Lied about her alleged pay cut as mayor of Wasilla.

Lied about what Alaska’s state scientists concluded about the health of the polar bear population in Alaska.

You cannot trust a word she says, about anything, unless it is to her advantage?
