Comedian George Carlin Dies At Age 71
June 25, 2008
George Carlin leaves the stage…

Comedian George Carlin, a culture icon, that baby Boomers best know for his routines about drugs, dirty words and the demise of humanity, died of heart failure at a Los Angeles hospital, on Sunday. June 22, 2006. He was 71.
I have read lots of sad notations about George Carlin and I feel after watching him all of these years that he would…
1. Roll over in his grave…
2. Rather chew off his own arm, at the thought of anyone mourning over him…
3. He would rather rip off his arm and hit you over he head with the blood end of it…
4. It would have made great satire for one of his skits…
But as all great comics, George knew…when it was time to leave the stage.
This Baby Boomer, for one, will simply give him what he always wanted, a standing ovation and a wolf whistle…
Carlin, who had a history of heart and drug dependency problems, died at Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica about 6 p.m. PDT (9 p.m. EDT). He was admitted earlier in the afternoon for chest pains.
