Chris Kyle and Neighbor Shot And Killed At A TX Shooting Range

Saturday February 2nd, 2013, Chris Kyle, an ex-Navy SEAL who wrote the best telling book, American Sniper about his service in Iraq, has been shot and killed at a gun range in Texas. A second man, Chad Littlefield was also shot and killed.
Kyle suffered a point-blank range shot, while helping another soldier, who was recovering from post traumatic stress syndrome, at a gun range near the town of Glen Rose, TX.
The Lancaster, Texas police have arrested a suspect, Eddie Ray Routh, age 25, after a brief chase. Routh is a former Marine, who is reported to suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome.
Americans knew Kyle for his for his four time deployments and exploits in Iraq. He set the record for sniper kills at 150, receiving countless commendations, such as two Silver Stars, five Bronze Stars with Valor, two Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, and one Navy and Marine Corps Commendation.
According to the Stephensville Empire Tribune, Kyle was given the nickname “The Devil of Ramadi” by the insurgents.
