The Whale Shark is the largest fish alive, is what most would call a vegetarian and is actually very docile. It’s diet is mostly tuna spawn and plankton.

I would find a place to bury it or I would throw it back in the ocean for the animals he lived with to enjoy because he doesn’t belong on land.
It would seem a shame to waste such a fish. His body could feed many people or enrich the land. India is a third world county, hopefully they will not waste the food.
Either way, if it goes back to the sea, it will become food for the sea. It is a win-win situation.
