Puppy Super Bowl Recipes-Dog Cookie Crunch Biscuits are sure to please the finicky eaters and of course those who just make dog-gone pigs of themselves.

This is a very easy recipe to make and you can change the recipe around very easily. These Puppy Super Bowl Recipes-Dog Cookie Crunch Biscuits are healthy.

The best part is, you will know what you are feeding your dog, since there are now regulations on what goes into any kind of commercial dog food or snack.

INGREDIENTS for Dog Cookie Crunch Biscuits

• 1 cup of whole wheat flour

• 1 1/4 cup of wheat bread flour-you can use regular whole wheat flour if you have none.

•  3/4 cup of dry full oats

• 3 TBSP Powered milk

• 2 TBSP Shortening

• 3/4 TBSP chicken or beef stock (unsalted) I save the tuna fish water from my tuna and use it as well for a different flavor. Even peanut butter will work. Try one TBSP of peanut butter.

DIRECTIONS for Dog Cookie Crunch Biscuits

• Pre-heat the oven to 400 degrees.

• Mix the ingredients well the flour ingredients, oatmeal, shortening and powered milk.

• Slowly add the stock, mixing as you go , kneading the dough.

•   On a floured surface roll a TBSP into balls. (I use a meat ball scoop) You can also use oats or sunflower seeds. My dog likes a few sesame seeds.

• Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

•  Bake for 45 minutes, turn off the oven and leave the dog cookies in the oven to crisp.

COOKING Alterations:

If your dog has bad teeth do not look as long and pull out of the oven when they look booked through

You can also roll this dough out and cut into smaller pieces or into shapes. Watch your cookie time when you cut into smaller pieces for smaller dogs. Less cooking time for smaller cookies.
