Stage-Movie-TV Icon Ben Gazzara Has Died
The on Stage-Movie-TV Icon Ben Gazzara Has Died in Manhattan, New York, at age 81.
Gazzara was diagnosed with throat cancer in 1999, but actually died from pancreatic cancer at Bellevue Hospital Center. He died Friday, February 3rd, 2012.

Many Baby Boomers will remember Gazzara‘s riveting and powerful roles. Perhaps what you will remember most is his method acting performances in “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof” on Broadway, and the film “The Big Lebowski.”
With 59 years of acting under his belt, there were many moments from which to remember him.

He was such a great actor and there is NOBODY to replace him not ever ever.
MAY HE REST IN PEACE AND MAY GOD GIVE HIS FAMILY THE STRENGTH TO GO THROUGH THIS REALLY TOUGH TIME AS I AM SURE HE WILL NOW AND FOR ALL TIME!!!
He will be greatly missed. He was a great method actor.
