Roseanne Barr Seeks The Green Party Presidential Nomination and this is not one of her comedy schticks, she is dead serious.

Roseanne Barr is an actress-comedian and in a recent statement, she is quoted as saying, “she is a longtime supporter of the party and looks forward to working with people who share her values. The two major parties are not serving the American people.”

“The Democrats and Republicans have proven that they are servants — bought and paid for by the 1% — who are not doing what’s in the best interest of the American people.”

If you remember, Occupy Wall Street protesters popularized the “We are the 99 percent” slogan in their fight against economic disparity and corporate greed.

Though Roseanne has submitted her paperwork to the Green Party, they will not chose their presidential candidate until a convention in Baltimore, in July of 2012.

Barr also stated that, “she has been fighting for working-class families and women for decades.”

At present time, Roseanne Barr, age 59, has a 46 acre macadamia nut farm located in Hawaii.
