‘Soul Train‘ Founder Don Cornelius Found Dead From An Apparent Suicide at age 75. He was found dead of a gunshot wound Wednesday, February 1st, 2012, according to authorities.
Cornelius died of a gunshot wound at his house on Mulholland Drive. Police responded to the call about 4 a.m., and an investigation is ongoing into whether the gunshot wound was self-inflicted. He was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Hospital, in Los Angeles, California.

Few Baby Boomers do not know of Don Cornelius or “Soul Train.” We all grew up with his weekly show and American Bandstand.
Soul Train was the latest Soul, Rhythm and Blues, Hip Hop, Gospel and Jazz Music, clothes and dances. Personally, I never missed one show until I went off to college.
Already, words of great lost and praise of his accomplishments are rolling in from music producer Quincy Jones, Al Sharpton, and many, many more.
Soul Train had such great artists on the show such as:
Al Green
Ike & Tina Turner
Marvin Gaye
The Jackson 5
Stevie Wonder
Elton John
Whitney Houston
David Bowie
Justin Timberlake
Janet Jackson
Beyonce
Aretha Franklin
And so many more wonderful Entertainers.
BBAC sends out their condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Don Cornelius. If there is an after life, he will be wearing the perfect suit with accompaniments, and entertaining.
