Police arrest an Ex-Marine From Iraq-Identified As The Serial Killer Who Killed 4 California Homeless Men.
California authorities believe that Itzcoatl Ocampo, age 23, is responsible for the death of four homeless men.
Ocampo is facing four murder charges in the deaths of four homeless men in southern California. He was arrested after witnesses identified him, after the last brutal and fatal attack on Friday the 13th, 2012, of the fourth homeless man.
Witnesses gave chase after the attack and stabbing of a transient in Orange County. They brought police to where they last saw the assailant.
According to authorities, Itzcoatl Ocampo was detained without incident.
Ocampo’s family members state that, “he was a former Marine who experienced difficulties after returning from Iraq.”
Authorities were actively searching for an alleged serial killer, after three homeless men were stabbed to death over 10 days last month in Anaheim, Brea and Placentia, California.
