New Girl Scout Cookies 2012

This is the hundredth year of Girl Scouting and to celebrate this auspicious occasion, New Girl Scout Cookies 2012 are going to be out.
American Girl Scouts are selling a new Girl Scout Cookie. It will join the tasty lineup of Thin Mints, Samoas, and Do-Si-Dos: In honor of Girl Scouts’ 100th anniversary, The New Girl Scout Cookies is Savannah Smiles, a lemon-wedge shortbread cookie dusted with powdered sugar.
The New Girl Scout Cookie is named after Girl Scout founder Juliette Gordon Low’s hometown, Savannah, Ga.
Will the New Girl Scout Cookie ever beat the Thin Mint? Not in this ex-Girl Scouts’ book. Thin Mints will remain my all time favorite.
The Girl Scout Cookies program began back in 1922, when the Girl Scouts’ American Girl magazine published recipes for simple homemade sugar cookies, suggesting local troupes sell them as a fundraising activity.

Girl Scouts everywhere sell around 200 million boxes of Girl Scout Cookies per year and for a mare $3.50 per box, you can support Girl Scouts.
Even if your favorite is the most popular dark chocolate Thin Mints, Samoas, Tagalongs or one of the other 8 other Girl Scouts Cookie Flavors—make sure that you at least try the New Girl Scout Cookies 2012 flavor and support the Girl Scouts of America.

I can’t eat cookies because of the HFCS but I wish I could because no matter what cookie they come out with they are great.
Carol,
I hear ya…I love Girl Scout cookies and the Girl Scouts. So even if I do not eat them I give them aqway, just so I can support the girls.
