Move On America-Fight Bank And Corporate American Greed

piggy bank and money Move On America Fight Bank And Corporate American Greed

Most of us start out with a piggy bank as children, but our financial needs as adults usually require a more sophisticated type of banking.

The problem is that big banking is pushing the average household down the tubes into the crapper.

Americans all across the face of the nation are losing their homes.  It might be your grandmother or it might be you.

But, rest assured the fat cats are laughing at us as we are being pushed out of our homes and onto our keesters.

Meanwhile, they are getting paid huge salaries, mega bonuses and  will never know in a lifetime…what it is to live off food stamps and lose your home.

Everyday some 20,000 Americans lose their job, but we still bailing out Wall Street and the Banks. Why is that?

Only 18 percent of Americans have confidence in America’s banking system, so why is it, that the media is not giving the banks a more critical eyeball?

It has been over ten years into this financial crisis, and the vast majority of Americans have not seen any noticeable help. Not even medically.

America is a country with 24 million unemployed and underemployed citizens and we are asked to bailout the perpetrators of one of histories greatest debt bubbles…the banks!

Folks are losing their homes to banks.

Banks are giving less and less service and are charging more and more fees, just to have them borrow our monies while it is in their banks.

There is no cut for senior citizens or Baby Boomers. If you write a check you are charged and if you use their bank card you are charged. The next fee will be to use their on-line-banking services. There is no rest for the wicked or the weary.

What should we as Americans do? Well, this Saturday I am going to a protest. It is a grassroots movement called Move On. Their website is http://pol.moveon.org/

What are they? Well, here is their agenda:

Make Wall Street Pay Action
The economy is broken. One out of every six Americans lives in poverty. The rich are getting richer and the middle class and poor doing worse. Meanwhile, Wall Street and the top 1% are getting record bonuses, earning record profits, and still refusing to pay their fair share. It’s immoral, unfair, and it’s destroying the American Dream.

Across the country we are taking to the streets to show our anger and to hold Wall Street accountable. That’s why on Saturday, November 5, we will take action against the biggest offenders on Wall Street: Bank of America, Chase, and other Wall St. banks. We’ll demonstrate that we refuse to support their businesses if they do not support us and America by paying their fair share.

We’ll visit their corporate headquarters, local branches, and town plazas with our message: Make Wall Street Pay! If they do not support the 99%, we’ll move our money elsewhere, damaging their business and their brand. By making Wall Street pay we’re one step closer to economic justice and a country where the American Dream is a reality.

Host your own Make Wall Street Pay Action or sign up for an event near you.

Right now there are 232 gatherings planned. You too can host your own “Make Wall Street Pay Action Event.” Here is the link to start your own group http://pol.moveon.org/event/events/create.html?action_id=258

Do not whine, whimper, complain, and do nothing. We are the largest group of Americans and we are the group who is most likely to lose with the banks. Our homes, business and livelihoods are all at stake. We are from the 60′s hippy generation so, get busy and protest… Get off your keesters…protest…Move On America-Fight Bank And Corporate American Greed.
