Manson Family Member Bruce Davis Denied Parole

Charles Manson Family Member Bruce Davis Denied Parole by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. Gov. Schwarzenegger’s office said it based its decision on public safety and other considerations.
Bruce Davis, a member of the notorious Charles Manson’s murderous cult, participated in two killings, and was considered by many to be the right hand of Charles Manson. He was recommended for parole by a parole panel of two, but it was flagged by the governor.
California Department of Corrections spokesman Terry Thornton stated that “the recommendation by a two-member panel of the Board of Parole Hearings came after the 26th hearing for Bruce Davis.”

Though not involved in the infamous Manson family murders of actress Sharon Tate and six others, Bruce Davis, 67, was imprisoned in 1972. He was convicted in the murders of musician Gary Hinman and stuntman Donald ‘Shorty’ Shea.

He was the car driver that took the Manson family to and from the killings and when told by Manson to chop off Donald ‘Shorty’ Shea‘s head, he did refused. He did admit to slashing Shea on the shoulder.
Bruce Davis finally states that, “I was as responsible as everyone there.”
