Why Does Rielle Hunter Says She Did Not Wreck John Edwards Home
Well, if you had watched Oprahs’ Thursday’s episode of “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” you would know why Rielle Hunter Says She Did Not Wreck John Edwards Home, and that she doesn’t believe she destroyed the former presidential candidate’s marriage, either.
Oprah did an interview with Rielle Hunter in her South Carolina and her are some Q & A:
Rielle Hunter: “It is not my experience that a third party wrecks a home. I believe the problems exist before a third party comes into the picture.”
Oprah: “So you don’t think you wrecked his home?”
Rielle Hunter: “I do not believe I wrecked his home.”
Rielle Hunter: “I believe people see her negatively because of the affair.”
Rielle Hunter: “A lot of people bought into the myth of the marriage, the Edwards’ marriage as being a storybook story and it was so perfect and so wonderful and I destroyed it. It fits into the two dimensional story line.”
Rielle Hunter: “She (Elizabeth Edwards) didn’t know until after the interview. He came clean with her after that interview.”
The interview was Hunter’s first televised interview and appearance since the former North Carolina senator, John Edwards first admitted, two years ago that he had an affair with her.
In January of 2010, Edwards finally admitted that he and Hunter have a 2 year old daughter. After publicly denying his child for 2 years.
John Edwards and his wife, Elizabeth Edwards are now separated.
Last May when Elizabeth Edwards appeared on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and discussed John Edwards’ infidelity, her struggle with terminal cancer and her memoir detailing how she coped with both. Oprah did not mention Hunter’s name during the interview, a condition Elizabeth Edwards requested and Oprah complied with.
What do you think Baby Boomers? Was Rielle Hunter a home wrecker or at least partially responsible for having an affair with a married man? Or does the whole blame rest on John Edwards shoulders?
One thing for sure, to deny one’s child is pretty darn sorry! His integrity ranks ZERO on my scale.
