Bill Clinton Hospitalized For Heart Issues according to a statement released by Douglas Band, Counselor to President Bill Clinton. Bill Clinton is 63.

“Today President Bill Clinton was admitted to the Columbia Campus of New York Presbyterian Hospital after feeling discomfort in his chest. Following a visit to his cardiologist, he underwent a procedure to place two stents in one of his coronary arteries. President Clinton is in good spirits, and will continue to focus on the work of his Foundation and Haiti’s relief and long-term recovery efforts. In 2004, President Clinton underwent a successful quadruple bypass operation to free four blocked arteries.”

At 5:05 PM Reports show that Bill Clinton called the head of cardiology at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital two days ago saying he wasn’t feeling well. Clinton then scheduled an appointment for Wednesday, February 10th, 2010, but postponed the appointment until Thursday afternoon.

At 4:40 PM Reports show that today, Thursday afternoon, February 11th, 2010, former President Bill Clinton was hospitalized in New York for a condition related to his heart. The ex-president, Clinton was taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital after experiencing chest pains. The leak is out that he is “likely for a stent procedure.”

I am sure that most Baby Boomers will remember that Bill Clinton had quadruple bypass surgery four and a half years ago.
