Dorice Donegan Moore Arrested On Accessory Charges

Murdered Florida Millionaire Update:Dorice Donegan Moore Arrested On Accessory Charges in connection with the death of a lottery millionaire, Abraham Shakespeare. His body was found buried under recently added concrete, at a home belonging to Moore’s boy friend, in Plant City, Florida.

According to authorities, Dorice Donegan Moore, 37, was arrested Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010, on charges of accessory after the fact regarding a first degree murder in the death of Abraham Shakespeare, 43.

DeeDee Moore, befriended Shakespeare after he won a $31 million Florida lottery prize in 2006, when he took a lump sum of 11 million. She has been a person of interest, the whole time, in connection with Abraham Shakespeare’s disappearance and now known murder.

Before her arrest, DeeDee Moore proclaimed her innocence using alligator tears, in an impromptu news conference outside her Florida home. She stated that she was planning to help Shakespeare write a book about the challenges of winning millions and that she was helping him manage the money.

“Abraham had a life of drama because of the money. The money was like a curse to him and now it has become a curse to me,” Moore continued.

Authorities think that Moore might have committed fraud to obtain parts of Shakespeare’s fortune. They also know that she bought lime to deal with his decomposing body smell. She was seeking someone to move the corpse to another location.

Abraham Shakespeare was killed on April 6th or April 7th, 2009 and during that time period, Dorice Donegan Moore has admitted trying to convince Shakespeare’s family members that he was still alive.

In December of 2009, Dorice Moore wrote a letter to the victim’s mother, claiming to be Abraham Shakespeare and claiming that he was all right,” She also used the victim’s cell phone and sent text messages to the victim’s family.”

Authorities would still be looking for Shakespeare’s body, if they had not received a tip from one of DeeDee Moore’s associates.

What does Moore say? “I’m deeply saddened for his family.”
