They often appear in clusters of three or four, and genital warts are so contagious that they can spread rapidly on you. They are usually not painful…BUT…they may cause mild pain, bleeding, and itching.
How Are Genital Warts Spread
Genital warts spread by direct, skin-to-skin contact with an infected person. Contact most often occurs during sexual activity that involves the penis, vagina, anus, or mouth.
But it is possible to get them from clothing and items such as a towel that has been used by an infected person.
How Do I Know If I Have Female Genital Warts
If you think that you have female genital warts, or any STD, visit your health care provider. They will examine you and perform tests to see if you have this hideous STD.
How are Genital Warts Treated

Well written article on genital warts. As a dermatologist I realize how far this STD has spread and how dangerous this disease is. It is often underestimated. Another problem is that people are usually very ashamed when suffering from genital warts and are often afraid of immediately seeking a medical professional for help and proper treatment.
i’m 16 and i don’t know if i have an std or not but my parents don’t know that i’m sexually active and there’s no possible way i’d ever tell them,i’ve looked up pictures of different stds and none fit what i think i could have.this is the closest but i don’t look anything like these pictures.how do i get tested without my parents knowing?

Contact your local health department and they will be able to assist you in where to go. If they are not, call a women’s health clinic or even a pregnancy center.
But, if I were you, I would tell my Mother at once so that she can get you help and sexual counseling.
If you are going to have sexual intercourse with partner or partners, you need to be protected.
If you want to act like an adult you—must act like one and be responsible for your sexual behavior.
Get help immediately, so that you do not infect others, or have the STD worsen or at least find out what your problem is. It could be something else, or even something that could be more serious.
