Giant Japanese Salamanders

Giant Japanese Salamanders, some growing up to 5-feet in length. However, it doesn’t matter how big they are, they are facing a barrier of dams in Japan, built to control flooding.
Japan now hopes a new system will help these giant amphibians get upstream past the dams to lay their eggs and continue to survive modern Japan.
