Christmas Saved By A Restaurant

Christmas Saved By A Restaurant when the Airport Lounge’s cooks dug through trash to rescue an envelope of cash that had been left on a table.
Karen Best, of Manchester, New Hampshire took her family out to eat at the Airport Lounge last week and did not realize until leaving the restaurant, that she had left an envelope containing $210 on the table.
“It was about 10 minutes of searching through my pocketbook and taking out stuff to throw away that I realized the money was gone. It was all the money I had. Every penny to my name was in that envelope,” stated Karen Best.
Karen then contacted the restaurant and was told the table had been cleared and the envelope was likely in the trash. She told the restaurant that the money was for her children’s Christmas gifts. It was a large sum to lose in her family’s current economic situation.
Christmas Saved By A Restaurant, when Paul Soucy, the cook from “The Airport Lounge,” sprang into action and ripped open three garbage bags to find the discarded cash for Karen Best.
“I was looking for the place mats, looking for coloring, looking for a white envelope and then the envelope was right there,” Soucy stated.
Not only did Paul Soucy save the day and all of the money, but the Airport Lounge has offered the Best’s a free Christmas supper as well, with several gifts for the best Children.
