Anthony Sowell Pleads Insanity

Anthony Sowell Pleads Insanity after a grand jury indicted him on 85 counts, following the discovery of 11 sets of human remains at his Cleveland, Ohio house in October of 2009.

According to authorities, those charges against Anthony Sowell, 50, include several counts of aggravated murder with a “mass murder specification,” meaning multiple people were killed in a similar fashion.  Also, rape, kidnapping charges have been charged with brutalizing three other women and the raping two of them.

Authorities arrested Sowell in October of 2009, after authorities served a search warrant in a rape case…discovered the remains of six women in and around his house. Further searches turned up the remains of five other women.

Police once again used cadaver dogs Wednesday, December 2nd 2009, to search Sowell’s childhood home, just outside of Cleveland, Ohio.

Sowells’ house had become the “house of horror” and those that survived it…now know just how lucky they were.
