Disabled Vet Sues McDonalds and claims that employees at a McDonald’s were angered with his service dog upon entering a store.
The very same McDonalds was then closed down for violating health regulations…not where I would want to eat…but the fact is that they do not value all customers. You will see the video below.
A disabled veteran who inspired Sen. Al Franken’s first legislative victory (more service dogs for disabled veterans) is suing McDonald’s for $10 million after allegedly being harassed, beaten, and told that he couldn’t take his service dog inside a fast food restaurant in New York City.
New York City???
Luis Carlos Montalvan, a former Army captain who was wounded in Iraq, states he was confronted by restaurant workers on two separate visits, and beaten with garbage can lids on a third when he returned with a camera in hand.
A spokeswoman for McDonald’s USA stated that the matter is under investigation and that the company could not comment further, other than to say that McDonald’s takes pride in making its restaurants accessible to all customers, “including those with service animals.”
Well, Baby Boomers, I guess this particular store fell through the cracks. Because this particular McDonalds Restaurant hasn’t a clue. (pic is not the store that is featured)
