UPDATE:4 Police Officers Fatally Shot In Washington Coffee Shop and the assailant might be injured by one of the officers who were slain.

According to the investigations, the officers were a target hit. In fact, they have a “person of interest” that they are looking for, Maurice Clemmons, 37, of Pierce County.

The slain officers have been identified as:
Sgt. Mark Renninger, 39
Officer Ronald Owens, 37
Officer Tina Griswold, 40
Officer Greg Richards, 42

“The attacker walked to the counter as if to order coffee before he pulled a gun out of his coat and fired. Two of the officers were “executed” as they sat at a table, another was shot when he stood up, and the fourth was shot after struggling with the gunman all the way out the door,” Pierce County sheriff’s spokesman Ed Troyer stated.
