4 Police Officers Fatally Shot In Washington Coffee Shop. It was the Forza Coffee Co., east of McChord Air Force Base near Tacoma, Washington, about 35 miles south of Seattle. Sunday, November 29th, 2009, in what police stated was an ambush.
The police officers were sitting in the coffee shop in Lakewood, Washington, before the start of their shifts, working on their computers and perhaps going over cases and catching up on paper work that officers have to deal with on a daily basis.
“This was a targeted, selected ambush. He said a gunman came inside, opened fire and shot all four officers. Two baristas and other customers inside the shop were unharmed…just the law enforcement officers were targeted,” stated Sheriff’s Department spokesman Ed Troyer.
Police are offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and they are looking for one man and possibly a second person in the attack, which occurred about 8 a.m.
The suspect is described as an African American man, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a black coat and blue jeans, with a “scruffy” appearance. The man is believed to have fled the coffee shop on foot.

I just don’t get it at all how could anyone just go into an eating establishment and start shooting without someone seeing the gun?
I know he had it hidden but didn’t anybody notice a large object under the coat?
ANYONE at all.
We used to go into a restaurant all the time and feel safe because there were always police eating there and now I have a second thought.
This is very scarey to think that you aren’t safe anywhere no matter what you are doing.
What makes this even worse is they were just ready to go to work they weren’t doing a thing and this insane fellow walks in and starts shooting for no reason but because. That is so scarey it is over the top maybe cops should eat where they work and not where the public eats to protect themselves and fthe innocent public.
MAY GOD BLESS ALL WHO ARE INVOLVED WITH HORRIBLE CASE NOW AND FOR ALL TIME AS I AM SURE HE WILL!!!
Even if they find this animal alive or dead he has done so much damage to the public at large because now you are even more afraid just to go out and eat.
