Bernie Madoff First Auction Brings In Over $900000

Bernie Madoff First Auction Brings In Over $900000 to help pay back investors that were fleeced by the Madoff’s.
Artifacts once owned by Bernie Madoff and Ruth Madoff, went on auction in New York on Saturday, November14th, 2009.
It seemed everyone wanted a piece of the Madoff as items went for way over their expected prices, pulling in almost a cool million.
A prime example is a Mets jacket that sold for $14,500 and is only valued at $500. WOW, that is twenty times the amount.

But more is expected to be auctioned off on Tuesday, November17th, 2009, when Bernie’s boats, including “The Bull,” go up for auction in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Don’t forget that his Manhattan penthouse and Palm Beach house are still for sale and there are expected to be at least two more auctions of his possession, even his clothes, will be up for grabs.
Yes, Baby Boomers, pieces of Bernie Madoff are going fast. But none of it can replace what was lost by the Madoff investors…their trust and financial well being.
