Phillip Garrido Sends Letter to KCRA TV Station and in his twisted mind it is an apology.
Phillip Garrido, accused of kidnapping and raping an 11 year old Jaycee Dugard, then holding her captive for 18 years, and fathering two children with her…apologized in a hand written jailhouse letter sent to KCRA television station.
This is not the first letter that Phillip Garrido has sent to the station.
Garrido letter seemed to be addressing the kidnapping of Jaycee Dugard.
The first sentence started with:
“First off I want to apologize to every human being for what has taken place.”
The second sentence seemed to refer to what Garrido has described as a religious transformation that cured him of his sexual deviancy.
Hey Phillip…how do you explain the two children that you fathered by Jaycee. Do you means that your sexual deviancy stopped after the girls were born? That you went cold turkey after years and years of being a pervert and a possible murderer?
The second sentence started with:
“People all over the world are hearing testimony that through the spirit of Christ a mental process took place ending a sexual problem believed to be impossible.”
Phillip Garrido Sends Letter to KCRA TV Station but this was not the first letter that he had sent to KCRA. It was the third letter that he sent to KCRA. This letter also addressed other issues, but the station declined to release more details at this time.
Anzio Williams, news director at KCRA stated, “We are not releasing the entire letter at this time based on consultations with our attorneys. We will tell the story and reference the letter.”
Garrido and his wife, Nancy Garrido, face multiple felony charges and other charges, in the 1991 kidnapping of Jaycee Dugard, from South Lake Tahoe, California. They have both pleaded not guilty, which still has me scratching my head.
