The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or CDC, took a close look at what you’re putting in your cart and your mouth and what they found was that only 27 percent of people eat three or more servings of vegetables a day, and only 33 percent eat two or more servings of fruit.

The Fall season has so many wonderful vegetables and fruits for you to try and enjoy. Squashes, pumpkins, apples and with imported produce, we can just about have anything year round and those are just the fresh produce. There are frozen fruits and vegetables as well.
Fruit…an apple counts as a serving are only about 3 little inches in diameter. So those monster apples you gravitate towards…net you at least two servings. See? Eating produce is as easy as eating an apple. Go for it. Eat for life and longevity.
