UPDATE:10 Bodies Found In Cleveland Ohio Rapist/Murderers Home after authorities discovered four more bodies Tuesday, November3rd, 2009, at the Cleveland, Ohio, home of a convicted rapist, and accused murderer, Anthony Sowell.

Tuesday, authorities officially charged Anthony Sowell, 50, with five counts of aggravated murder after discovering 6 African American female bodies at Sowells’ home, the previous week. Anthony Sowell, 50, also was charged with rape, felonious assault and kidnapping and his arraignment is scheduled for Wednesday morning, November 4th, 2009.

Police arrested Sowell on Saturday, October 31st. 2009, two days after discovering the decomposing bodies of five females inside his home and another woman’s body outside the house.

Anthony Sowell was found walking out side a police station, because a tipster had told authorities where he was.

When the autopsies of the 6 women came back, all of the previous six deaths were ruled homicides, with five of the deaths due to strangulation.

Around a month ago, a brave woman accused Antony Sowell of rape and felonious assault. She now knows how lucky she is that she did not turn up like other women who met Sowell…dead.

That brave action of coming forward, set the wheels in motion. Even though neighbors have been complaining that the house smelled like dead bodies, apparently, authorities investigated….they dropped the ball and more women lost their lives in the process.

Officers serving the warrants Thursday, October 29th, 2009, discovered two badly decomposed bodies on the third floor of the house and after searching for more bodies, a subsequent search revealed what appeared to be a freshly dug grave under the stairs in the basement.

Anthony Sowell used different burial methods on his victims, and the bodies were in varying states of decomposition. That made it difficult to determine the ages of the victims and hard to tell how long they had been in their makeshift graves.

Anthony Sowell, is a repeat offender. He was convicted for a 1989 rape for which he was imprisoned from 1990 to 2005. This is what is wrong with the system that we have. His crimes have only escalated. He is a violent offender who has taken 10 women lives and perhaps more…who can be sure when dealing with such an ill person.

I do not know about the rest of you…but I think it is safe to say that Antony Sowell could very well be one of Cleveland Ohio’s worst serial killer/rapist.
