3 Missing North Dakota College Students Found

The Bodies of 3 Missing North Dakota College Students Found in their vehicle, submerged in a pond, near their college.

The bodies of three students at a North Dakota university who had been missing since Sunday, November 1st. 2009, were found Tuesday in a 1977 white jeep Cherokee, submerged in a cattle stock pond near Dickinson State University.

3 Missing North Dakota College Students Found Tuesday afternoon, November 3rd, 2009, after a search team found tire tracks leading to a stock pond for cattle five miles northwest of Dickinson, North Dakota.

Their cell phones were towered in that area which gave the search a beginning place to start after a frantic all about the jeep and water…the messages and pings stopped suddenly. The jeep was then spotted underwater by a searching aircraft.

No foul play is suspected as the girls, Kyrstin Gemar, 22, a senior, who owned the car; Afton Williamson, 20, a junior; and Ashley Neufeld, 21,  were avid star gazers and often went on star gazing drives. All three were softball players at The Dickinson State University.

BBAC sends their condolences to the families, friends, students and softball team members of Kyrstin Gemar, Afton Williamson and Ashley Neufeld.
