Baby Food Recall-Plum Organics recalls pouch food for possible Botulism contamination.
Plum Organics is recalling its apple and carrot flavored baby food for the possibility of botulism poisoning.
Plum Organics is a California based company and they announced the recall Tuesday, October 13th, 2009, stating that their product did not meet FDA requirements.
Botulism is a rare, serious paralytic illness. So far, no illnesses have been reported from Organic Plum products.
The organic baby food is sold in Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us stores. The recalled product is 4.22-ounce pouches, with a “best by” date of May 21, 2010. The UPC is 890180001221.
Baby Food Recall-Plum Organics, so check the cupboards for that particular baby food and take it back to Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us stores.
