Authorities state that they are looking for Faleh Hassan Almaleki, who struck two people, his daughter and her friend, with a vehicle Tuesday, October 20th, 2009.

It all happened in Peoria, Arizona, 13 miles northwest of Phoenix.

Faleh Hassan Almaleki, 48, struck his daughter, Noor Faleh Almaleki, 20, and her friend Amal Edan Khalaf, 43, with a gray or silver Jeep Grand Cherokee, he was driving in a parking lot, Tuesday afternoon.

Faleh Hassan Almaleki was beyond anger with his daughter “as she had become too ‘Westernized’ and was not living according to the Almaleki family’s traditional Iraqi values,” according to the Peoria police.

Noor Faleh Almaleki is hospitalized with life threatening injuries and Amal Edan Khalaf, with whom Ms Almaleki lives, received injuries that were not life threatening, but is still in the hospital recovering.

Faleh Hassan Almaleki was last seen in the vehicle that hit the women, a gray or silver colored, Jeep Grand Cherokee.
