Garth Brooks Out Of Retirement after 9 years of staying away from the music business.

Garth Brooks, is a favorite country star and Thursday, October 15th, 2009, nine years later, he has decided to come back into the lime light.

Garth Brooks, 47, did perform during inaugural festivities in Washington in January, 2009.

Garth Brooks made the announcement at a press conference at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

Much to country music lovers dismay, he will not be announcing a tour and has been quoted as saying that “if he tours again, it still won’t be until his youngest goes to college.”

Brooks, 47, was one of country music’s biggest stars in the 1990s. Garth’s albums, include “Ropin’ the Wind,” “The Chase” and “In Pieces,” sold in excess of 100 million copies, according to the Recording Industry Association of America.

and will probably be seen in the bright lights of Las Vegas, at the Wynn Resort and the Jay Leno Show.

Brooks also was renowned for his concerts, which were marathon affairs in which he drove himself and his band with incredible energy, is just a good ole’ boy, with a great voice and good songs, whose charms are something that no one can resist.

Back in 2000, Garth announced he announced that he wanted to spend more time with his sons and family. His last album with material, “Scarecrow,” came out in 2001, though he’s lent his voice to occasional tribute singles and concerts, including a performance for President Obama’s inauguration festivities this year.

Garth Brooks became divorced from his first marriage and is now married to fellow country singer Trisha Yearwood, whom he married in 2005.
