Jaycee Dugard, the kidnapped girl outside her home in South Lake Tahoe, California in June of 1991, by convicted sex offender Phillip Garrido and his wife, Nancy breaks her silence in the newest issue of People magazine.

“I’m so happy to be back,” the headline on the cover of the October 26th 2009, issue of People, which hits newsstands this Friday. “Nothing is more important than the unconditional love and support I have from them.”

Jaycee Dugard is now 29 years old, the mother of two and her abductors are in jail.

Jaycee Dugard and her daughters now live in seclusion with her Mother, Terry Probyn, 50, along with her two daughters, Angel, 15, and Starlit, 11. Both of whom were fathered by her kidnapper, Phillip Garrido.

Taking the slow road of recovery. She rides horses, cooks meals and is thinking of collaborating on a book.

She will have to make an appearance in court against the Garrido’s latter this month, so this is her first step towards the public and a world she has never known.

“They live a surprisingly normal life, considering the circumstances,” states Terry’s stepmother, Joan Curry.
