Washington Landslide

Washington Landslide in the Nile Valley in central Washington sent rocks dirt and sand covering Route 410 on October 13th, 2009.
The sights and sounds of rocks rolling down mountainsides are not uncommon but when a Washington Landslide covered up to a half-mile of Washington state Route 410 with rock up to 30 feet deep, that got every ones attention.
The Washington Landslide that fell toke a whole face of a mountain with it. It happened over the weekend and stranded more than 1,500 people in the Nile Valley. For the full story, go to CNN News.
