UK Soldier Dies From Bad Transplanted Lungs

UK Soldier Dies From Bad Transplanted Lungs and the UK hospital defends its practice of using organs donated by smokers after the death of a soldier who received the cancerous lungs of a heavy smoker.

Corporal Matthew Millington, 31, died at his home in 2008, less than a year after receiving a life saving lung transplant. The only hitch was that it was from a heavy smoker. That transplant was supposed to save his life and it was done at Papworth Hospital, the UK’s largest specialist cardiothoracic hospital, in Cambridgeshire, east England.

Papworth Hospital released a statement saying using donor lungs from smokers was not “unusual.” What are they thinking? Prolonging life for less than a year then putting their patients back in to lung cancer again? Perhaps some of you doctors or nurses (the actual healers) out there can explain that to me. Why there isn’t better quality control on such an issue?

Their statement continued  that the hospital had no option but to use lungs from smokers as “the number of lung transplants carried out would have been significantly lower,” if they didn’t.

So, Baby Boomers, should hospitals use smokers’ lungs in transplants? I am giving that a BIG thumbs down. It is like taking candy from a baby. Give someone hope…then take it away.

So, those of you who are looking for transplants…make sure that they are organs that are not diseased.

Do not forget to sign up for Donor Cards. Give the gift of life. For those wanting to be an organ donor, here is the link to OrganDonor.gov

Our condolences go out to the family and friends of Corporal Matthew Millington.

The best way to forgo the lung cancer is to not smoke or to stop smoking. There are natural treatments designed to relieve multiple symptoms, and can be safely used with no drowsiness or adverse side effects. Natural products are absorbed quickly into the blood vessels under the tongue. A sublingual application is the preferred method to deliver homeopathic ingredients to combat your symptoms so you can feel better quickly and stop smoking naturally.

I think I have heard everything now they transplanted lungs from a heavy smoker?
If that isn’t something I would sue about this you are thinking that your life has been saved by this wonderful transplant and you lose your life on the operating table because they thought it was a good idea to transplant a deceased lung?
I hope the family goes after the hospital?

MAY GOD BLESS THE ENTIRE FAMILY NOW AND FOR ALL TIME AS I AM SURE HE WILL!!!
