North Dakota’s Tallest Dog

North Dakota’s Tallest Dog is in Casselton, North Dakota. He is a real beast that might just lick you to death.
This super sized dog pet weighs in at 180 pounds, 3 feet tall at the shoulders and 7 feet long from nose to his wagging tail, he might be a contender for the worlds tallest dog.
The previous record holder was a Great Dane that measured nearly 4 feet tall. Gibson was 7 years old and was the record holder for the last 5 years. Great Danes do not have a long life span. Like any giant, their body has to work over time. Gibson had bone cancer and lost his fight against it, this summer of 2009.
North Dakota’s Tallest Dog is bigger than most of our parents were. When you think of a dog, it’s usually one you can walk, handle, even sleep with, but for one pet owner, she has a difficult time doing any of those considering the sheer size of her beloved pet.
Caryn Weber claims that her 3 year old, Landseer Newfoundland keeps all four paws on the floor when he drinks from the kitchen sink in her family’s farm house in eastern North Dakota. and can look you right in the eye as you sit in your car.
It seems a tall tale, but one of love and devotion between Caryn and Boomer. America loves a good dog story and this is one. Boomer is not your average run of the mill dog. He could very well be the worlds tallest dog.
Owner Caryn Weber is hoping her Boomer measures up and becomes world record material as the tallest living dog.
After all, it’s not everyday you see a large dog that needs its own taxi to get around town. Ms. Weber will send Boomer’s measurements to the Guinness Book of World Records to be verified.
North Dakota’s Tallest Dog could soon become the worlds tallest dog. Good luck Boomer!

I just hope that this wonderful dog lives a very heathy life as I am sure he will!!!
