Letterman revealed on his show Thursday, October 1st, 2009, that he was being extorted because he had sex with members of his staff.
Letterman has already testified about those liaisons before a New York grand jury for the case involving the alleged attempted extortion.
CBS producer, Robert Joel “Joe” Halderman is accused of threatening to go public with allegedly embarrassing information about Letterman’s private life, unless Late Night host, David Letterman, paid $2 million.

He can say he is sorry all he wants to be sorry doesn’t fly to me he cheated on his wife and his innocent child.
It seems that he has a track record with his staffers he married one. From what I looking he tried all of them out until he found one he liked and stayed with him for years and finally married her when he wanted a child.
But the best part he cheated even on her during their time they lived together and if I were her I wouldn’t like that at all.
