Washington Nurses Protest Flu Vaccinations, so much so that a union representing 16,000 registered nurses in Washington state has filed a federal lawsuit against MultiCare Health System for implementing a mandatory flu vaccination policy.
“This new policy will force nurses to get the flu vaccination or to wear face masks as a condition of employment and may result in the firing of nurses who do not comply with the policy,” the union said in a statement.
Washington Nurses Protest Flu Vaccinations with a lawsuit that seeks an injunction to stop the policy from being implemented at both Tacoma General and Good Samaritan hospitals.
“Any mandatory vaccination policy should be implemented on a federal or state level, not through a patchwork of hospital-by-hospital policies,” said Judy Huntington, executive director of the nurses’ association.

NO ONE SHOULD BE FORCED TO ANYTHING THEY WANT TO DO AND THAT IS A FACT!!!
I am a medical assistant and I refused the vaccination and I also refused to wear the mask. To me, I would feel uncomfortable if the medical assistant about to give my child a shot walks in with a mask on her face. I work in a pediatric clinic all day long wth children, fear is the last thing I want the pt’s or their parents experiencing when they walk through those doors. I am glad someone else is refusing, most of the women I work with, who never wanted the vaccine in the first place, got it anyway just because they did not want to wear a mask. Well I stood my ground and I am not only not getting the cavaccination but I am aslo still very comfortable at work.
