McCain Manager Predicts Palin Could Prove ‘Catastrophic’

McCain Manager Predicts Palin Could Prove ‘Catastrophic’ if she runs for the presidency.
Steve Schmidt, who ran John McCain’s presidential campaign stated Friday, September 2nd, 2009, that Sarah Palin could lead to a ‘catastrophic’ election result for the GOP in 2012. That is IF the ex-Alaska governor receives the party’s presidential nomination in 2012..
“I think that she has talents but, my honest view is that she would not be a winning candidate for the Republican Party in 2012, and in fact, were she the nominee, we could have a catastrophic election result,” Steve Schmidt continued.
McCain Manager Predicts Palin Could Prove ‘Catastrophic’ was the comment that Schmidt made during The Atlantic Magazine’s First Draft of History Conference, held at the Newseum in Washington, DC., on October 2nd, 2009.
“I don’t think it’s inconceivable that she could be the Republican nominee for President of the United States. I do think it’s fairly inconceivable that she could be elected President of the United States,” Schmidt stated.
When asked about Sarah Palin’s upcoming book titled “Going Rogue,” Schmidt thinks he will be portrayed as “anti-rogue in the running of the campaign.”
Well, it seems Mrs. Palin has make quite a few enemies. It seems I am not the only one who is not under her ether.
