Rep. Joe Wilson Out Burst was perhaps one of the rudest acts that I have seen a grown up do in many years…that last was at a midget wrestling match back in in 1970′s.
The GOP congressman from South Carolina, Rep. Joe Wilson, who shouted out during President Obama’s Health Care address to Congress, has insisted Thursday, September 10th, 2009, that his outburst was “spontaneous.”
Spontaneously rude and inappropriate. Personally, I do not believe it. I do believe that the whole action was staged. He needs to be tar and feathered…
Rep. Joe Wilson shouted, “You lie!” after President Obama denies the health plan would cover illegal immigrants.
Myself, many others as well as some observers, where shocked by his actions when he shouted, “You lie!” after President denied that health care legislation would provide free coverage for illegal immigrants.
Wilson on the way to his office on Thursday, September 10th, 2009, stated that “my outburst wasn’t planned.”
Right and neither is Christmas…
This has made the divide between the Dem’s and the Rep’s as big as the Grand Canyon.
“It was spontaneous. It was when he stated, as he did, about not covering illegal aliens, when I knew we had those two amendments, and I say that respectfully,” Wilson stated.
Normally, I would dismiss an act that was so disrespectful and down right rude as being a non-southerner act. Since we are know for our manners…But I can not give him that, as he is from South Carolina. An inexcusable act…
Therefore…what could it be besides rude and disrespectful? Perhaps bigotry comes into play. Black President, illegal aliens…Budda Joe Wilson…you add it up.
You, Joe Wilson, are a ill mannered heckler. Be glad that you are in America, because in other countries and other times, your head would be sitting on a stick, right about now.
Why do we live in (supposedly) the greatest country on earth and have tens of millions without health care? Simple…Drug Companies. Lobbyists. Wall Street. Insurance Companies and now Rep. Joe Wilson. Who feels he has to put his big foot in the door.
This is one of the most important proposals in America’s history. I could not sit at my keyboard…even though I am not a political expert…and not post. First I had to calm down before I could post. I feel that this is a Baby Boomer topic, more than any other group.
FOLLOW THE MONEY…It’s too much money down the drain for Republicans.
The government is offering a public option. So, get out there.
Baby Boomers, it’s all a money game and we, as Baby Boomers have the most to lose. I am just one of the millions who does not and can not get health care.
Both Democrats and Republicans have criticized the South Carolina congressman for what they described as disrespect for the President of The United States.
Last week I had a friend who had a heart attack and there were two of his valves that were 95 percent blocked. He needed open heart surgery. He is 50 and with out health insurance…and what they did, was go up b0th of his legs and open up his arteries and sent him home after 4 days. Then the doctor wants him to stay home for 6 weeks to recuperate. Does anyone see your self in this situation?

I think the South Carolina Representative should be taken out behind the Capitol and publicly FLOGGED. There is no room for this kind of behavior from our elected officials.
Spontaneous? Emotional Outburst? That’s probably why he, of all people, was caught on camera with his embarrassing behavior.
Joe Wilson, you did your State proud today. Good luck with your re-election.
That’s no excuse for bad manners, but it just seems that the outrage over Joe Wilson is disingenuous because, he did do the right thing, and apologize, whereas we never heard an apology from even one single Democrat when President Bush was loudly booed in the same chamber, during his State of the Union speech in 2005.

That is true, Sheldon…but do you clarify booing the same as calling a President a liar…on the floor? There was booing on that day as well.
And don’t you find it interesting that he has asked for money.
One can expect a child not to control his emotions…but this man knows better. He knows what the rules of the house are and that he represents all of South Carolina.
It was all a ploy/plot and he was the puppet. Do not forget the fact that this good old bubba boy from South Carolina is a bigot/racist and he probably jumped at the chance.
The first chance he got…he probably ran to the bathroom and chocked his chicken.
Bottom line…Unacceptable behavior.
