Colombia President Has Swine Flu but continues to work from his residence.
Colombian President Alvaro Uribe has contracted the H1N1 swine flu virus and is being treated by doctors while continuing to run his government by telephone and the Internet.
President Uribe, 57, attended a summit with other regional leaders on Friday in Argentina. He started suffering from fever, headaches and backaches after the meeting.
The leaders who met with the 57-year-old Uribe at the summit have been advised of his infection.
The H1N1 swine flu virus spread world wide after emerging in April in Mexico, the United States and Canada.
The WHO declared a pandemic in June and warned that the new strain could infect hundreds of millions of people world wide.
As far as world leaders go, Costa Rican President Oscar Arias, was the first known head of government to have caught swine flu. He recovered earlier this month from a mild case of the virus and returned to his normal routine after working from home for about a week while he was being treated.
Colombia President Has Swine Flu and according to Columbia’s Social Protection Ministry, Colombia has only reported 621 confirmed cases of swine flu and there have been 34 confirmed deaths.









We should be thankful that the swine flu did not spread very rapidly. it is not very deadly like Ebola but swine flu can still kill you.
A cold can kill you or a teaspoon of water…the pharmaceutical companies make the virus and then make the vaccination to sell to you making millions.
