Jaycee Lee Dugard Press Conference has many answers to what happened to an 11 year old girl abducted at a bus stop in June of 1991.

A 29 year old woman, believed to be Jaycee Lee Dugard, has been reunited with her family. Dugard was kidnapped from her school bus stop on June 10, 1991 when she was only 11 years old, as her step-father watched her.

El Dorado Sheriff’s Lt. Les Lovell states that, “We’re 99 percent sure it’s her. DNA tests are being conducted and the woman is reported to be in good condition.

A blonde, pony tailed woman implicated her captors, convicted sex offender Phillip Craig Garrido, 58, and his wife Nancy Garrido, 54. Both were arrested on Wednesday and are being held at the Contra Costa County Jail in the abduction of then…little 11 year old Jaycee.

Officers have reportedly searched the couple’s home in Antioch, California for evidence.

Police stopped Garrido at the University of California at Berkeley. He had two young female children in the car with him. Children with whom he was acting inappropriate with. Officers did a background check and determined that he was a registered sex offender.

After interrogating Garrido, officers were able to determine that the children are Garrido’s and Jaycees Dugard’s. Their ages are 11 and 15.

That means that Jaycee gave child birth at the age of 15 and again at age 20. Not in a hospital. But at home. The likely hood of those children being abused as well…are 100 percent.

The abducted woman was reportedly hidden in a backyard shed for eighteen years, where she lived in a series of soundproof outbuildings with her children. Authorities state that they have never received medical care or been to school. They have lived their whole lives back there in a series of small sheds and tents, where they were successfully concealed from the outside world.

Most people can not even imagine the terror.

Jaycee’s Mother, Terry Probyn has spoken to Jaycee by telephone and is convinced it is her missing child. Probyn and her 19 year old daughter are flying from their Orange County California home to meet with Jaycee in Northern California. Jaycee’s sister was only a year old when she was kidnapped. She never knew her or was able to remember her.

Dugard’s stepfather Carl Probyn was the prime suspect as a possible accomplice to the kidnapping as he was there when little Jaycee was abducted. For many years the FBI though he was implicated in some way.

He reported that a couple had snatched Jaycee from her bus stop and sped away in a car. He gave chase on his bicycle but quickly lost sight of the vehicle.

This case is very much like Josef Fritzl, 73, who is the Austrian man accused of keeping his daughter and their four children (she had 7 children in all) in a cellar all of their lives, went on trial March 16Th 2009. There were six charges including murder and incest. Fritzl has admitted holding her captive for 24 years and her children whom he has fathered.
