OctoMom-Nadya Suleman In Court Again

OctoMom-Nadya Suleman In Court Again, on Friday, August 21st, 2009, attempting to maintain full control of her children and their estate.

The judge denied OctoMom’s petition to block any outside guardians to oversee her children’s finances. He then asked the Department of Social Services to conduct an investigation for the sake of the Suleman children.

Many Baby Boomers feel that OctoMom-Nadya Suleman has been exploiting her children for financial gain. Among those are Gloria Allred who has shown her criticism by filing a lawsuit for potentially exploiting her octuplets for financial gain.

OctoMom’s response is that Allred is alleging suing her in an issue to promote herself.

The Department of Social Services is expected to file a report on October 29th, 2009, and give their recommendation regarding the guardianship of the children’s estate.

“We are very happy that the court has upheld the law and allowed us to proceed with our case and our efforts to protect Nadya Suleman’s octuplets. Nadya Suleman’s attorneys attempted to dismiss our case but failed in their efforts. Although it is a victory for us, it is more importantly a victory for Nadya Suleman’s octuplets,” Gloria Allred stated.

“We are also very pleased that the court has invited the Department of Social Services to conduct an investigation and file a report and recommendation to the court. It appears to us that the court wants to be sure that the children’s interests are protected.”

“Our client Paul Petersen’s paramount concern is the best interests of the children. We look forward to our next date in court on this matter.”
