Ed Reimers Dies
Ed Reimers Dies. The voice behind…”you’re in good hands with Allstate,” has died.
According to a relative, Ed Reimers, 96, has died in upstate New York at his daughter home in Saratoga Springs. The cause of death isn’t immediately clear, but at 96, perhaps it was just a natural death.
Ed Reimers Dies but I am sure that many Baby Boomers, remember his voice, through the years.
Reimers started his career in 1957 with Allstate and he was their TV spokesman for 22 years.
If Baby boomers don’t remember his Allstate voice, perhaps you remember that he was also an announcer for television programs including the 1950s-era Western “Maverick” and appeared in shows including an episode of the original “Star Trek” series.
Ed Reimers Dies and BBAC send out their condolences to his daughter, Kathryn, two grandsons and a niece, his friends and of course his fans.
