Who Played What At Woodstock

250px Woodstock poster Who Played What At Woodstock
Who Played What At Woodstock. Even if you were there, you might not remember who, what, why and when.

Woodstock…Baby Boomers and now a nation, fondly remember one long, hot, rainy weekend in August of 1969, what happened on a dairy farm in upstate New York changed the course of rock music, and stamped an indelible image on American culture and

became an icon of festivals past…

Joni Mitchell wrote of Woodstock…

“I’m going on down to Yasgur’s farm,
I’m going to join in a rock ‘n’ roll band,
I’m going to camp out on the land,
I’m going to try and get my soul free”

Who Played What At Woodstock and now a song about Woodstock…

Joni Mitchell “Woodstock”

“By the time we got to Woodstock
We were half a million strong,
And everywhere there was song and celebration.
And I dreamed I saw the bombers
Riding shotgun in the sky
And they were turning into butterflies.”

BBAC hopes that you enjoyed Who Played What At Woodstock. This is one Baby Boomer who wasn’t able to attend but would have loved to have gone. There have been many festivals that became want-a-be Woodstock’s. But none were…it was a time and place like no other. Happy Anniversary 40th Woodstock.
