Worlds Tallest Dog Dies. Gibson was diagnosed with the disease in April of 2009 and had his front right leg amputated to prevent its spread. He also underwent chemotherapy as a precaution, to keep the cancer from spreading.
Gibson’s owner, Sandy Hall, learned last week the cancer had spread to his lungs and spine and that no treatment that could save him. Hall decided to euthanize Gibson on Friday, August, 7th, 2009.
Large dogs have a lot of bone and joint problems.
Gibson, was quite the star. He appeared on “The Tonight Show,” “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and on Japanese television in 2006 after being named the world’s tallest dog.
Worlds Tallest Dog Dies and our condolences go out to Sandy Hall and all of those who will miss Duncan. He was a good dog and friend.

I so sorry to hear that but from I understand that breed of dog doesn’t live very long but is is still so sad to hear he died because he seemed to be a happy dog.
MAY GOD BE WITH HIM AND HIS ENTIRE FAMILY NOW AND FOR ALL TIME AS I AM SURE HE WILL!!!
